Depth Using Foreground Blur and Leading Lines

The swooping highlighted wires and blurred foreground combine to communicate depth.  The telephone poles here seem almost two dimensional rather than their usual support of depth with receding repetition.

The "foreground" is an illusion as the bicycle image is a shadow as are the repetitive stripes.
